Generic Dobby Interface

General Concept:
* "Quickdraw" provides user interface & tracks which shafts should be activated for each shot
* The Generic command from Quickdraw to loom is "1,3,5,11\n" (all shafts to activate, comma seperated, Carriage Return termination)
* The foot switch activates the shafts when pressed, releases shafts to rest position when released & Sends "Advance\n" command back to host

Stepper motor implementation:
* Arduino in loom receives the command & tracks which shafts should move (see code below)
* PowerPoint file with design information
* PowerPoint file with design information (more pictures)
* 8 Shaft Stepper Motor Control - Arduino Source Code
* 25 Minute video walk-thru of design
* 25 Minute video walk-thru of building Prototyping shield & electrical assembly of Dobby head
* Wiring Running List for Dobby head/prototype board
* Foot switch tells software to move motors, motors connect to horizontal rods (5/16" - 5mm shaft connectors)
* As rods turn the cord connecting rod & shaft spools around rod, thus raising the shaft
* The oversize (1/4") collar on the rod holds the end of the cord in place on the rod (easy to adjust & holds cord firmly)
* Parts List

Pneumatics implementations:
* Arduino in loom receives the command & tracks which shafts should move (see code below)
* 12 Shaft Pneumatic Control - Arduino Source Code
* 20 Shaft Pneumatic Control (with LCD display) - Arduino Source Code
* Video showing process to clean the Humphry 3E1 valves
* Foot switch tells software to activate pneumatic valves, valve activates ram & moves shafts
